Alpha Tanker Services of Corby Northampton have taken delivery of their new RCV ultra gully.
This special-purpose gully emptier combines versatility, ergonomics and convenience like virtually no other commercial vehicle – the Mercedes Econic chosen by Alan Strickland MD at Alpha tankers is in a class of its own. Its unique low-entry concept coupled with top quality from Mercedes-Benz means this is a vehicle that provides just what you need, the unique cab design ensures maximum visibility whilst driving along with maximum comfort.
The RCV gully emptier has been specified with a Jurop RV520 vacuum pump providing 520 cfm which ensures there is no hanging around waiting for the vacuum to build before opening the boom valve, the performance is there instantly as required.
The 300-degree boom is also equipped with boom jets to break up silt and debris which has built up also assisting with speed and easy operation for the operator.
The boom jets are powered from a Speck 100 lt per minute @ 150 bar jetting unit which can also supply a ½” hydraulically operated hose reel equipped with 150mts of hose for resealing, cleaning or unblocking.
The whole vehicle is painted in a limited-edition silver chosen by Alan to celebrate his 25th year in the industry, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Alan on his achievement and for his continued business as this is the 6th Tanker manufactured by us for Alan’s anniversary year, we hope there are many more to come.
